The first one is cardiovascular fitness. For those who haven’t known, it is also often called as cardio-respiratory endurance or cardiovascular endurance. Cardiovascular fitness can be defined as the quality of your heart and lungs function in distributing the necessary oxygen and fuel in your body. Why is it so important? When your body receive oxygen and fuel in good amount and in the right time, you will not get tired easily. In daily life, you will need this aspect to be prime to do your activities as well as exercises.
The second one is muscular strength. With strong muscles, you will be able to cope with some physical jobs like moving, lifting, etc. And this is linked to the third component, which is muscular endurance.
Muscular endurance can be defined as the ability to perform some movements without maximum force, or until your muscles are fatigued. Put it simply, it measures how long you are able to do few movements before getting tired to finish.
Muscular endurance and muscular strength are often misunderstood. Many folks think that they are just the same. In fact, they are very different. While they have strong connections, they are definitely not the same. For those who want to perform daily activities and want to stay fit and healthy, muscular endurance holds important role in fitness.
The next one is flexibility. I am sure that most of us have known about this aspect for a while. It can be defined as the ability to move joints or any group of joints, muscles, tendons, as well as ligaments. Put it simply, you can move around and conduct some motion without pain, discomfort, or any other hassles.
Many people often overlook flexibility. In fact, it is the most important component for physical fitness. Not only it can improve your movement and motion to perform daily tasks, but also maintaining joints to prevent from any damages.When you are flexible, you will decrease lower back health condition, then reduce the risk of muscular injuries.
Body composition is the percentage of fat in your body compared to the lean body mass. Body composition is often used by nutritionist to assess the healthiness of the person. That means by knowing this, you will also know what health risks which you need to consider.
With this in mind, you will realize that the key of being fit lies in these important components.
