Why Does Physical Fitness Matter?



Some also say that physical health does matter. But actually physical fitness
and physical health are the same things. The good physical fitness does mean that the doers have good physical health.  

Why does it matter? First things first, good physical fitness means that you are away from diseases and other health condition. To maintain good physical fitness, ones are encouraged to do routine exercises, proper diet, and obviously quality sleep. In daily practices, physical fitness influences people to perform up to their potential.


Fitness can be defined as the condition which contributes to individual’s feel, look, and performance. In the fitness industry, physical fitness is described as the ability to perform daily tasks as well as exercises. In other theory, physical fitness is linked to the ability in enduring, lifting, carrying, withstand stress, and perform both mental and physical activities.

To be able to know what’s wrong with our body, you need to know that physical fitness is often divided into several categories. They are categorized by

Cardiovascular endurance

It is the ability of the body in distributing oxygen and nutrients to tissues. It is often diagnosed with the long breath ability, the concentration, etc.

Muscular strength and muscular endurance

Although it is one aspect actually muscular strength is different with muscular endurance. Muscular strength means the ability of muscles to wield force for short period of time. In the other words, it shows how strong you are in doing strong physical activity. Meanwhile muscular endurance is the ability to bolster repeated pressure.

Flexibility

This is the ability to do certain motion without any hurt, hassle or obstacle. Flexibility can be assessed by the ability to move joints as well as muscles at various motions without any problem.

Body Composition

It is important to know that body composition holds important role. It values your lean mass and fat mass. The ratio of these 2 things is usually the indication of physical fitness.
You are familiar with obese or overweight people. They have more fat mass than lean mass. Being overweight is often linked to several health conditions like heart attack, heart failure, hypertension, and so on.

Acknowledging the factors mentioned above, you shall understand that physical fitness does matter. That way you would have the right mindset to improve your life.
