Starting Your Training Regime? Consider These Principles

Whether or not you hire personal trainer, it is important to understand
few principles before starting your training regime. The principles that we’d like to share are based on scientific research we gathered from professional trainer. Knowing these principles will help you to maximize the training results.

#1 Specify your goal

Your goal will determine what types of training you are going to conduct. For instance, if your goal is to improve your overall fitness, then you will be involved with a fitness program which focuses on body’s strength and endurance. This will also let you stay on track to achieve your fitness goal faster.

#2 Training Overload

It is a principle which encourages you to increase the training loads in certain period of time so that your body will adapt to them. When you reach certain level, you will need to increase the workloads to improve the results of your training.

#3 Recovery and Rejuvenation

This implies that you must have adequate amount of time for resting between workouts. There is no point to force yourself to workout without resting. This will only make exhausted, and risk your body to experience long fatigue. How much time you need to rest depends on your training program, diet, fitness level, weight, and many other factors.

#4 Avoid the Detraining Effects

While we understand that adequate resting is necessary, taking too long breaks can make such detraining effects. This is where you need to avoid.  At that time, you will need to reverse the training. That means you will condition yourself as the same in pre-training phase. It is important to know that 8 weeks are such significant long breaks. This will decrease 30 up to 40% of endurance and 10% of strenght. You will need to regain them by reversibility.

#5 Workout Variations

You might be bored with the same exercises over and over. That’s why variation is important to consider. Not only that, variation in exercises can improve your fitness over time.

#6 Assignment

Your exercises will not be worth your time and effort if you can’t transfer the results to something useful. For instance, your workout activities can improve your working skills, sport skills, cooking skills, etc. If those workouts can improve your performance in your job, that is much better.

Keep these principles in mind when you are following specific fitness training program. This will help you to determine the best exercises for your health necessities.
